What a fantastic day at the Great Dunmow Carnival for the Rebel Strength Strongest Man & East of England Novice Final 2016
On Saturday 17th September we ran the second Rebel Strength Strongest Man & East of England Strongest Novice 2016 as part of the Great Dunmow Carnival.
We ran the Novice and Inters classes in the morning, with the East of England Strongest Novice Final in the afternoon.
With Head Referee Charlie Gough and Martin Cee as MC.
With 5 Events.
1) Deadlift for Reps.
2)13" monster log for Reps
3) Frame carry for Distance
4) Kegs Over Bar
5) Monster Yoke carry over distance
Deadlift for Reps in 60secs, 200Kg for Novice and 240Kg for Inters and Novice Final.
Monster Yoke carry event 240Kg for Novices and 300Kg for Inters and Novice Final.
Rebel Strength 13" Monster Log press, 90Kg for Novices and 110Kg for Inters and Novice Final
Weighted Kegs over bar in 60Secs.
Frame Carry 200Kg for Novices and 250Kg for Inters and Novice Final.

The East of England Strongest novice Finalists.
All 3 classes were close down to the wire with only a few points separating the top of the tables.

Even with the slightly damp and windy conditions hundreds of spectators turned out to cheer the strongmen on.
We had strongmen enter from all over the country and even had one athlete who came all the way from Cornwall to compete.
Massive thanks to all the athletes, spectators and all the helpers for all there hard work during the day.
We are looking forward to hosting the competition again next year.
