“After being around the gym environment for over 20 years, I decided to try something new and have a go at a Strongman competition. The first couple of competitions were a lot harder than I thought. With the steep learning curve and the determination to try harder I decided to make my own equipment to train with.”
“Being a qualified welder, fabricator, machine operator, CAD draughtsman and contracts manager the skills I had definitely helped in the design of the standard equipment as well as the more bespoke designs we produce.
I have competed in a number of competitions and the passion for the sport is growing. I competed in the Peterborough Masters competition recently and the support the competitors give each other is tremendous. This is a sport for the whole family and is a great day out.
I have more competitions booked this year and I am looking forward to making new friends in this great sport.
Starting Rebel Strength was a massive step, it is very hard work but I wouldn’t change it for anything.
I certainly wouldn’t be in the position I am without the help and support of my family, Alloy Fabweld Ltd and of course, the Rebel Strength Team.
We have grown rapidly in one year and we are really proud to be the first strength manufacturer to receive the ‘Made in Britain’ accreditation.
We are spending a lot of time and effort helping the strength industry to grow in this country, by sponsoring top strength athletes and competitions to promote many sports, one of our goals is to bring increased professionalism for the next generation of strength athletes.
In the next 3 years, I want Rebel Strength to be one of the biggest equipment suppliers in Europe.
Enjoy and use our website, think of it as your ‘strength hub’….and of course, enjoy our hand-made products!
